9-11 Day of Service a Sad Joke

Canadians are going to commemorate a Terrorist Attack on our Way Of Life by picking up garbage in a local park, and talking about bullying with our grandchildren?  The '9-11 day of service legislation' is a sad joke, disguised as a way to 'increase awareness of what emergency services do every day'.  To have this legislation introduced by Julian Fantino, the 'Coward of Caledonia', was a double slap in the face.

9-11 is a day of mourning and remembrance.  Sure, by landing plane in Gander and taking stranded travellers into our homes we performed 'service'.  We did what we had to do when the attacks occurred, and we'd all it all over again.  But that shouldn't be the focus here.  What a bunch of misguided cowards we have for leaders.

"9/11 was a deliberate, carefully planned evil act of the long-waged war on the West by Koran-inspired soldiers of Allah around the world. They hated us before George W. Bush was in office. They hated us before Israel existed. And the avengers of the religion of perpetual outrage will keep hating us no matter how much we try to appease them."  Michelle Malkin

"We commemorate an act of war as a “tragic event,” and we retreat to equivocation, cultural self-loathing, and utterly fraudulent misrepresentation about the events of the day."  Mark Steyn

I'll be thinking of the victims on 9-11, and vowing revenge on the violent ideology of islam that killed them.  I'll also spend a day next week at the gun range practicing.  Know Your Enemy - Name Your Enemy.  In preparation there is remembrance.  Don Sharpe
