International Press Freedom Day

. . .... is today, Sept 30.

Celebrate the 4th anniversary of the Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten publishing 12 illustrations of the Prophet Mohammed.

Write something important and provocative. Don't let idealogical bullies set the pace. Speak up for your culture, speak up for Canada.

Bob & Doug McKenzie and Lawrence Cannon

**Bumped**
**Update** Stephen Harper - A real leader, not a groveling apologist, but a leader with spine.

Bob & Doug tell Lawrence Cannon and the Canadian UN delegation to walk out of Ahma-hater's speech to the United Nations.
Even Iggy says 'it was the right thing to do", and he's an idiot.

For the real details, cnews.

Mr Stelmach, tear down this free speech wall!

For Seven Long Years the Calgary Herald was investigated for an editorial published in 2002, 'Apocalyptic Creed', by the Alberta HRC.

Nine 'muslim organizations' had complained the editorial 'promoted hatred and contempt of (them) and Palestinian Arabs'.

At the point of a a judicial shotgun, the Alberta HRC delivered a contemptible, passive-aggressive, thoroughly snotty ruling, "Although offensive, the editorial does not infringe Section 3 of the Act . . ..."

These 9 muslim groups earned our contempt then, and they continue to do so, as they continue to espouse baseless fiction slandering our beliefs, our culture, and our western way of life.

You don't see free speech advocates running to the Alberta HRC for 'protection' from these idiots, because in our western culture we believe they have a right to say whatever they want, boundaried only by the Ciminal Code of Canada. Allowing any of the HRC's to remain in Canada and remain in power is a personal violation of each one of us.

If the Stelmach Government doesn't move to abolish the Alberta HRC, the tool of these anti-freedom Albertans, it isn't their fault.

It's ours.

We get the government we deserve, and if we're all too weak, too complacent, too comfortable and too uninformed of the issues to demand change . . ... then we're farther down the road to a dictatorial caliphate-style of leadership than any of us had previously dreamed possible.

Harper calls out Ahma-hater.

Harper to Iran, "Bring it."

25 September 2009 - Ottawa, Ontario
PM Stephen Harper states:

“Canada is unequivocal in stating that a regime that abuses its own people, crushes democratic desires and shows little regard for its neighbours is a threat to the world community should it acquire nuclear weapons.”

Then to close:

“Canada has been very clear. We will be very supportive of whatever actions are necessary to deal with threats to acquire nuclear weapons.”

Ahma-hater is gonna wish he'd been arrested in NYC and sent to Gitmo, after we give the Israelis the nudge/wink/go-ahead to bomb his ass once he gets home. Maybe we can get the girls from The View to tour the nuke facility the same day.

Choosing between Celebrations.

Let me see . ...

Sept 25, 2009

I can either celebrate 'Arthur's Day' or 'Muslim Prayer Day'.

Well, that was easy.

"Waitress, I'll have a pint please."

There is nothing to dislike about this gal

Sure, she's younger than her husband.
OK, she made the British military look like a bunch of pansies.
Yes, in a red dress she's apparently quite distressing to other women.

But Man, can she throw a punch!
Canadian 'Woman of the Year', as far as I'm concerned.

Disturbingly Similar Video - Obama & Kim Jong Ill

Children in Burlington, NJ sing an Obama tribute song - June 19/2009.

Children in North Korea sing a tribute to Kim Jong Ill - from 2006.

Similar? All the American kids need are flaming torches/red flags.....

" I pity da fool. "

"Send in the clown . ... I mean, the defendant."

Ezra Levant on Richard Warman being investigated by the CHRC.

"His worst punishment is having to be himself."
Brutal, but much deserved, indeed.

Fight to de-normalize the HRC's not over.

** - Bumped -** 'cause I love this pic of Richard Warman

Ezra has an update and link to the MacLean's story on what comes next for section 13.

Take a few minutes and let Ezra remind you of what a radical, amoral clown Richard Warman is. Not so funny now, is it Richard?

Jihad Sheilas

It'd be funny if it wasn't so bizarre. if these weren't real people.

" . . .... Oh, be still my heart when he talks about jihad!"

Goofy as can be around the 8:15 mark.
This 6 part series is from last year, but I'm still catching up from Rushdie in '79 and the Ontario sharia debate decision from Sept 11, 2005, so go with it.

Funny bit here, where the ladies claim they were 'tricked' into the interviews. Imagine, these weak minded women being tricked into a six part television special.

How many strikes can Obama take before he's called out?

There was the bow to the Saudi Prince . . ... jeez, that was pretty bad. After 9/11 a 'throat punch' with a follow up 'knee to the groin' woulda been so much more appropriate.

Then the handshake with Chavez . ... c'mon, have you no clue? Really? When he gave you the book, 'Las Venas Abiertas de America Latina', did you just wonder if it had any pictures?

Then there was 'Reconciliation Beerfest at the White House'. Did you not think to help your professor buddy down the steps, bein' as he's crippled and all? Thank goodness that bad ol' racist cop (who teaches diversity for the police department) was there to give the old fossil a hand.

So next week, when we see pictures of Barry with Ahma-terrorist, let's not be all that surprised.
Hey, some say there's really no bad publicity, just so long as they spell your name right.

The free market tells Ahma-hater he's not welcome in NYC

He hasn't even arrived yet.

Yup, tough to even get a room in NYC when you're an international A-hole douche-bag, let alone a meal with 500 of your psycho friends. Just goes to prove that you can still trust a capitalist.

Maybe Ahma-dickhead can have his own private imam call ahead and book the room. Or maybe not. Imam Mess-my-pants has espoused, "If the judgment for the [female] prisoner is execution, then rape before execution brings the interrogator a spiritual reward equivalent to making the mandated Haj pilgrimage [to Mecca]." He's one of these guys below. Don't ask me which one . . .... they all look the same to me.

Guess the bellhops will be drawing straws, with the short lot having to deliver the figs and risk summary judgement from the 'mez' and his 'sodomy or not' buddies.

Rifqa is safe . ... for now.

Rifqa Bary will be allowed to live.
In Florida. For now.
So her parents don't have an opportunity to kill her.
So that other muslims don't have an opportunity to kill her.
Creeping sharia - how many more young women will be sacrificed before the western world wakes up to the truth about Islam?

h/t Atlas

I thought 'Little Mosque' was bad.

This is worse.
Television fiction that continues to attempt to hide the true face of modern Islam.
The 'muslim community' is repeatedly shown as co-operative when approached by police, but continually rejects any responsibility as a group for crimes committed by it's members either locally or internationally.
Yeah, it's everyone elses fault.
I'll stick with MEMRI for my facts on Islam.
Rather than fiction, here are the video facts on modern Islam.
Open hostility at the 6:15 mark.

Dr Jonathan Fine @ Carlton University Sept 10/09

'CONTRASTING SECULAR AND RELIGIOUS TERRORISM'

I was very fortunate to hear Dr Jonathan Fine speak in Calgary this past Wednesday night at the JCC. His 'Contrasting Secular and Religious Terrorism' lecture is well researched and described very clearly how secular terrorism, with an anti-colonial or separatist agenda differs greatly from the "No Negotiations, No Dialogue" suicide bomber attacks supporting an Islamic agenda.

This deep idealogical commitment goes beyond simply "resisting occupation" and is only one limited stage in a much larger scheme for a new world order. This is evident in a vision of a wide Shi‘i crescent extending from Iran through Iraq and linking up with Lebanon, or in Al-Qaeda's dream, of a new Islamic caliphate stretching from Spain in the west to Iraq in the east and eventually including Southeast Asia and Europe.

Dr. Fine is a research fellow at the International Institute for Counter-Terrorism and a lecturer at the Lauder School of Diplomacy and Strategy at the Interdisciplinary Center, both in Herzylia, and at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Dr. Fine has an extensive CV, and has lectured on many other relevant subjects, including to the Israeli Boarder Police, Platoon Commanding course: "From kindergarten to the Garden of Eden – The Use of Children in Terrorist & Guerrilla Organizations".

Section 13 declared 'unconstitutional'!

CHRC Tribunal chair Athanasios Hadjis has ruled that Section 13, Canada's much maligned human rights hate speech law, is unconstitutional, and a violation of the Charter right to free expression.

I have also concluded that s. 13(1) in conjunction with ss. 54(1) and (1.1) are inconsistent with s. 2(b) of the Charter, which guarantees the freedom of thought, belief, opinion and expression. The restriction imposed by these provisions is not a reasonable limit within the meaning of s. 1 of the Charter.

Mark Steyn says it's the 'beginning of the end' for section 13, and a major boost to the fight that he, Ezra Levant and MacLean's magazine have been waging!

And this hilarious poem is quoted in the chair's decision, I had never heard it before. Racist? No! Hateful? Again, No? Funny? I certainly thought so!

Canadian Immigrant Poem

I cross ocean,
poor and broke,
Take bus,
see employment folk.

Nice man treat me
good in there,
Say I need to
see welfare.

Welfare say,
"You come no more,
We send cash
right to your door."

Welfare cheques,
they make you wealthy,
Medicare it keep
you healthy!

By and by,
I got plenty of money,
Thanks to you,
Canadian dummy.

Write to friends
in motherland,
Tell them `come
fast as you can.'

They come in turbans
and Ford trucks,
I buy big house
with welfare bucks

They come here,
we live together,
More welfare cheques,
it gets better!

Fourteen families,
they moving in,
But neighbor's patience,
wearing thin.

Finally, white chap
moves away,
Now I buy his house,
and then I say,

"Find more aliens
for house to rent."
And in the yard
I put a tent.

Send for family
they just trash,
But they, too,
draw the welfare cash!

Everything is
very good,
And soon we
own the neighbourhood.

We have hobby - -
it's called breeding,
Welfare pay
for baby feeding.

Kids need dentist?
Wife need pills?
We get free!
We got no bills!

Canadian crazy!
He pay all year,
To keep welfare
running here.

We think Canada
damn good place!
Too damn good for
the white man race.

If they no like us,
they can scram,
Got lots of room in
Pakistan.

Stockwell Day's call for an elected Senate

Stockwell Day, MP for Okanagan Coquihalla and Minister of International Trade and Minister for the Asia-Pacific Gateway, publishes a weekly commentary that speaks plainly to members of his constituency.

This week's commentary is a call once again to reform the unelected Canadian Senate. Stockwell doesn't dislike the Senate, and provides historical background on how the Upper Chamber came to be, and why it way initially an unelected body.

"Over the decades, as our democratic processes evolved, it became a source of growing irritation that unelected Senators could actually do things like pass their own legislation and amend or delay legislation that had been passed by elected Members of Parliament."

Minister Day identifies a clear and simple path for changing the Senate to an elected body that would represent citizens instead of the Prime Minister, and names the Senators recently appointed who have agreed to help achieve those goals.

For the time being, you have to be on Stockwell's mailing list to get this weekly commentary, but it should be up here on the website in a couple of weeks.

Until then, the Aug 17 weekly commentary, "Eyes Front" details a proud grandson's trip to Ottawa for the unveiling of the Wall of Honor for those Canadian soldiers who died and were captured while serving in the Japanese theatre of Hong Kong in WWII.

Stockwell writes from his heart, and his compassion, grace, and hard work is evident every week in these commentaries. I wish my MP wrote these to his constituents. I think I'll send him a note and ask him why he doesn't.
